Is InstantAssist Legal Advice?

The answer is no.  While many of our mediators are in fact lawyers, at InstantAssist, our mediators will not offer individual legal advice, but, rather will offer negotiation assistance.  Desired legal information and advice should be obtained from a lawyer licensed to practice law in your state or country.

Who Are InstantAssist Mediators?

InstantAssist Mediators are highly experienced.  You can find out information about your assigned mediator upon assignment or you can review panel members and request assignment to a particular mediator.  Mediator Directory

What Will InstantAssist Mediators Do?

IntantAssist Mediators help clients to make constructive progress resolving conflicts and negotiating constructive results.  Mediators will:

• First seek to best understand your situation, who is involved and what is going on. 
• Next, the InstantAssist Mediator will want to best understand both participants (and your children's) interests and desired results.  
• The mediator will then work with both participants separately and/or together to identify options for moving forward. 
• The goal is to jointly agree on improved parenting and financial arrangements for the future.
• The InstantAssist Mediator will act as an emissary for you in dealing with the other party to the extent this is helpful.
